（１）H.BetelとP.Flochiniはファジー化された2値3近傍CA（EFCA)のなかで，加重平均型と呼ばれるクラスのCAを定義し，その漸近的振る舞いを調べ，それらの時間的空間的収束性を明らかにした．我々は3値3近傍CAまたはもっと多くの値（状態）を持つ3近傍CAに対して，それらのCAにおける状態を高次元空間の独立なベクトルとみなし，混合状態をそれらのベクトルにより作られる単体の周および内部の点と考えることによりファジー化することに成功した．このような3値3近傍ファジーCAにおいてもECAの場合と同様にして加重平均型と呼ばれるFCAのクラスを定義することができる．1昨年度までの研究では，加重平均型3値3近傍ファジーファジーCAの漸近的な振る舞いをケーススタディーにより調べ，それらの時間的または空間的な漸近的収束性を明らかにした．昨年度の研究では，このような研究内容を理論的に再構成し，一昨年度までに得られた結果を3次元ベクトルに作用する3次対称群の作用の観点から理論的に整理した．（２）交通流モデルとしてよく知られているECA184を拡張して，前が空いていれば車は2マスまで進めるモデルを考えると，それは2値4近傍CAとして定式化できる．このようなCAに対してコンピュータシミュレーションを行うと，車の密度が1/3以下であればどのような初期状態に対してもある時間経過の後には車は進行方向に一定に流れるようになり，密度が1/3と1/2のときは初期状態で車が渋滞していても，時間経過とともに渋滞が解消する場合と解消しない場合がある（メタ安定分岐）ことがわかる．この事実を理論的に解明することを目標として研究を進め，密度が1/3以下のときには，すでに述べた事実を数学的に証明し，密度が1/3より大きく1/2以下のときには，渋滞が解消するような初期状態に対する一つの十分条件を与えた．
