本年度は昨年度に引き続き図面の分析および修理工事報告書の分析をすすめるとともに、図面の原本調査および明治初期建築の現地実測調査を行った。・「ジョサイア・コンドル建築図面」の分析　京都大学が所蔵する図面の原本調査を行った。デジタル画像では判断の難しい文字や図面の筆跡から、製図者がコンドル本人なのか日本人共働者なのか検討を進め、さらにそれによる尺貫法の使い分けの状況、図面の製作目的（清書図面か下書き図面か）等の分析を行った。今回調査を行った図面はほんの一部に過ぎず、今後はより焦点を絞り適切な図面の分析を進める必要がある。・現存建造物の調査　幕末期から明治初期に建設された外国人建築家設計による現存建築物の一事例として、旧鹿児島紡績所技師館の細部実測調査、尚古集成館の調査（修理中につき外部のみ）をおこなった。旧鹿児島紡績所技師館は従来の説では尺貫法で建設されていると考えられ、内部は床座の設計であることから扉の把手の位置が内側と外側で異なる特徴を持つ。今回の現地調査において細部の寸法を実測調査することで、基準寸法の再検討が可能となった。報告書等により大きな寸法を抑えることは可能であるが、細部寸法を把握するためには実測調査を行う必要があり、次年度も同様の実測調査をより多くの建築で行う方向で考えている。・修理工事報告書の分析　昨年度に引き続き外国人建築家、設計者にかかる既刊行の修理工事報告書の分析を進めた。
