本研究では，経営学的分析に基づき「造園業や関係主体が「地域課題解決型事業」を展開・発展させる際の障壁を取り除き，継続的な事業展開を促す方策」を明らかにすることを研究の目的としている。本年度（2022年）は，事業実施主体である「造園業（＋その他企業・NPO）」を対象に調査を行い，それにより事業展開やその他主体との連携事業を 念頭に入れた「造園業」のポジションの解明とそれを踏まえた基本戦略（組織・人材育成マネジメント）の考察することを予定していた。昨年度までに，「1.調査対象の選定や関係団体との調査前の調整」，「2．アンケート調査内容の検討」，「3．分析方法の整理・プレ分析」を行い今年度の本調査のデータ分析を円滑に進めるべく準備作業を行った。本年度は，「4．プレ調査」，「関係団体との詳細調整」を行った。当初予定では，「造園業（＋その他企業・NPO）」については今年度中にアンケート調査の実施に至ることを予定していたが，配布先である造園関連団体との調整結果により，アンケート調査の回収率の向上等を意識し，繁忙期年度末での配布は避け，来年度の前期に配布することとした。また，本年度から調査開始の「消費者・事業協働主体「市民」については「1.調査対象の選定や関係団体との調査前の調整」，「2．アンケート調査内容の検討」を行った。「1.調査対象の選定や関係団体との調査前の調整」として，都市公園等も活用する幅広い地域課題サービスを提供するNPOと調整し，調査の可能性を探った。「2．アンケート調査内容の検討」では，研究の趣旨を踏まえつつ造園・ランドスケープに関わるより幅広い業態に対する意識を取るようなアンケート調査内容とすることが望ましいこと等を検討した。
