项目摘要

牛呼吸器病症候群（BRDC）は、様々な要因が複雑に関与することによって引き起こされる牛の呼吸器障害の総称である。BRDCでは病態と病原体分離結果が一致しないことも多く、病理学的所見も複雑となり、診断が困難な症例も少なくない。本研究では、BRDCの病理組織学的診断精度向上のために、バーチャルスライド(Whole Slide Image: WSI）によるデジタル画像を用いて、BRDCの病理組織像を比較できるデータベースを構築し、組織所見から類似症例を容易に抽出する方法を開発する。本データベースの構築は、診断の効率化及び標準化に有用である。今年度は、R3年度にWSI化した症例のメタデータを整理し、一部の症例については特殊染色標本、免疫染色標本のWSIデータを追加した。これらの症例について、農研機構統合データベースにデジタル画像とメタデータの登録を行った。それぞれのファイルにはサムネイル画像を付け、ファイルを開かずに画像を確認できるようにした。また、新たにBRDC 7症例を収集し、病理組織学的に解析を行った。一部の症例についてはTeamsやZoomを利用してWSI画像を遠隔地と供覧し、病理組織像の解説あるいはディスカッションを行った。既存および新規症例をあわせて19症例92枚(累計46症例159枚)のBRDC症例をWSI化し、アノテーションを行っている。作成したデータベースの検索には、データベース管理ソフトの活用を検討していたが、他プロジェクトにて構築するWSIメタデータ検索システムを活用することとした。そのために、メタデータ項目を同検索システムと統一させた。今後、メタデータ内の専門用語を同検索システムの語彙に一致するよう修正する予定である。

Bovine respiratory disease syndrome (BRDC) is caused by respiratory failure in cattle. BRDC has many pathological and pathogen isolation results that are consistent, many pathological findings that are complex, and few cases that are difficult to diagnose. This study aims to improve the diagnostic accuracy of BRDC histopathology and to develop a method for comparing BRDC histopathological images with each other and for easily extracting similar cases from tissue findings. The structure of the system, the efficiency of diagnosis and standardization are useful. This year, in R3, WSI cases were sorted out, and special staining and immunostaining were added. For this reason, the agricultural research institution should integrate the information and registration of the case. All right, all right. 7 cases of BRDC were collected and analyzed pathologically. A part of the case is to use Teams Zoom to provide remote viewing of WSI images, and to explain pathological images. There were 92 BRDC cases in 19 cases (159 in 46 cases), and the BRDC cases were transformed into WSI cases. The WSI management system is designed to be used in the design and construction of the WSI management system. All right, all right, all right.
