①ロタウイルス胃腸炎の入院数は、2020年が11例、2021年は0例であったが、2022年も9例と、COVID-19による学校閉鎖（2020年3月-5月）後の著明に減少した状態が持続していた。また、2020年10月にロタウイルスワクチンが定期接種化されたが、この減少持続がワクチンの有効性によるものか、COVID-19流行や感染対策による効果かについての判断は現時点で困難である。②ロタウイルス胃腸炎の減少は、2022年も継続しており、流行状況や流行株の解析が困難な状態となっている。③札幌市の定期接種化後（１年6か月）における、生後15週0日を超えてのロタウイルスワクチン初回接種率は0.8%（140/16,843）であった。この割合はロタウイルスワクチン市販後調査での8%（21,567）の1/10程度の水準であり、定期接種化後における初回接種の推奨生後週数の遵守傾向が明らかとなった。
