研究遂行のため、実験のプラットフォームとなるマウス２次卵胞体外培養系の安定化を図った。並行して、まとまった量のヒト卵巣組織を得る機会があったので、組織切片の作成及び切片からの卵胞回収といった卵巣組織のハンドリングの確認や、凍結融解、卵巣組織培養を行った。
