本研究は，期間は4年間とし，2021年度，2022年度の計画は以下の通りである．1．関連論文の把握と調査項目の検討直腸がんに関する国内外論文をもとに，近年のトレンドやその傾向を確認する．検索には，医中誌Web，PubMed，CINAHLを使用する．また，webやSNSを活用し，直腸がん患者の栄養代謝や退院後の生活に関して情報を広く収集することで問題状況を捉える．以上より調査項目に追加される要素を抽出する．2．手術を受けた直腸がん患者退院後の栄養代謝状態と機能障害へのセルフマネジメントと満足度，自己効力感およびQOLの実態把握【パイロットスタディおよび本調査】以上のように，2021～2022年度は，既存の直腸がんに関する国内外論文をもとに，近年のトレンドやその傾向を確認し，手術を受けた直腸がん患者の退院後の様子を把握することを目指していた．しかし，COVID-19感染蔓延による影響が根強く残っており，対象者の確保が難しい状況が続いていた．そのため，2021年度と同様に，国内・国外文献の概観を続け，直腸がんや大腸がん患者のSNSなども確認することで，情報収集を継続していた．それらを用いて調査項目を再検討しているところである．研究協力者からの情報によるとCOVID-19が5類に移行したことで，徐々に調査実施が可能になってくるようである．研究対象者の生の声を吸い上げ，セルフマネジメントの様相の把握に努めていく．調査の実施が遅れているため，2023年度は調査が完了できるように準備をしていく．
