遠隔医療は、地域医療の分野で広がりを見せているが、近年、集中治療（以下,ICU）分野でも導入されている。世界中のコロナ感染症流行により、医療の場では、直接患者に接触できない状況が出ており、遠隔から患者を観察できるシステムの重要性は高い。すでに米国では、遠隔医療システムの実績が報告されているが、日本では、導入費用の問題もあり、導入施設は限られている。また遠隔医療に関して医療従事者を含む国民のリテラシー不足があり、遠隔医療での医療者の役割を明確にしていく必要がある。しかし、日本国内では導入初期のため医療者の役割は明確でなく、ケアモデルは未開である。遠隔集中治療（以下,遠隔ICU）において、看護師の参入が始まっているが、国内では前例がなく、今後、看護ケアモデルを開拓する必要がある。そこで本研究では、「遠隔集中治療における患者回復アウトカムへつながる看護ケアモデルの構築」を行うことを目的とする。これは今後、遠隔ICUが発展していく中で、実践可能なモデルを開発させていく上での有用な資料となり得る。令和4年度は、研究分担者と国内外の新たな研究動向を確認した。米国では遠隔ICUのガイドラインが提示されたので、研究の参考にした。またICUには看護師だけでなく、医師、理学療法士、作業療法士などもケアに参入し、協働している。よって、看護ケアモデルの構築の際に、リハビリ部門医療者の影響も検討する必要が示唆されたので、専用のアンケートを検討した。またすでに研究協力メンバーである遠隔ICU看護師の専属看護師1名以外に、集中治療の経験が20年を超える看護師を1名確保し、臨床での看護師協力者は2名になった。昨年実施した、集中治療看護師へのプレインタビュー内容や関連文献から、看護師用のアンケートを完成した。倫理委員会から研究実施について承認を得、その後、全国のICUを持つ病院にアンケート調査依頼した。
