项目摘要

2022年度は最重度身体障害者をリクルートした。リクルートした者は被験者として研究に協力して頂いたが、一方では研究内容において、様々な手法をトライする際に当事者として発言してもらい、研究に参画してもらうことを求め了承をえられた。被験者が研究に参画するという試みによって、当事者しかわからない重度身体障害者の身体と運動方法のあり方について、新たな方法を模索することにチャレンジした。最重度身体障害者への運動方法は、主に上半身を中心とした運動の導入を実施した。本研究におけるポイントは、フィットネス効果を期待するだけではなく、持続可能な運動方法であるかどうかである。よって、運動が継続できるためには楽しさ、達成感、いつでも、どこでもできるなどが求められるため、その点を考慮しながら運動方法を考案した。使用した機器はブレイズ・ポッドである。この機器は５つの点滅するボタンを使用し、それらを様々な場所に設置して、タップすることにより運動を継続して行く。今回はテーブル上にボタンを置き、ある特定の色が光った時だけボタンをタップするなどの条件をつけて、上半身の運動を中心に実施した。その際、通常の椅子に座って行う場合と立位で行う場合では心拍数に変化があることがわかった。被験者からの提案で、ブレーキをかけない車いすを使用して運動を実践したところ、車いすが揺れることによって体幹のに刺激が与えられ、より全身で運動をしている感覚があることがわかり、さらに心拍数も座位よりも高い数値を記録した。また、日常生活における心拍数も数日測定し、基礎的なデータも収集している。今後、この方法に工夫を加えながら実験を行なっていく予定である。
