令和４年度は、前年度に引き続き、「軽度知的障害児者の運動継続意志の関連要因の把握」について研究を進めた。前年度において運動部等に所属している生徒や１週間の総運動時間が70分（1日平均10分）以上の生徒は卒業後の運動継続意志が高いことが明らかとなった。これらの結果から、特別支援学校において運動習慣の形成を図ることが卒業後の継続意思につながる可能性が示された。こうした結果を受けて、軽度知的障害児者における運動実施そのものの意義についても確認しておくこととした。これまでに、運動実施が身体的・心理的に良好な影響をもたらすことが定型発達者において報告されているため、軽度知的障害児者においても運動実施とウェルビーイングの関連について検討することとした。分析の結果、軽度知的障害児者においても定型発達者と同様に、運動を実施している者のウェルビーイングが良好であることが示された。このことから、軽度知的障害児者においても運動実施が心理的に良好な影響をもたらす可能性が示された。特別支援学校における運動実施がウェルビーイングと卒業後の運動継続意思にも関連することが示され、特別支援教育に現場において貴重なデータを得ることができた。今年度の主な学術的な成果としては、上記の軽度知的障害児者の運動実施とウェルビーイングとの関連を見出したことである。現在、上記の研究成果を投稿中である。今後は、調査実施先の特別支援学校教員や教育委員会と連携して教育現場に役立つエビデンスを蓄積する予定である。
