项目摘要

今年度もザンビア共和国への渡航ができず、現地での活動を進展させることができなかった。活動拠点である首都ルサカのChilenje Hospitalとの交流は、施設代表者とのオンラインによるアクセスが困難で、現地の情報が入手できず、活動が継続されているかが確認できていない。一方で、Chilenje Hospitalの前看護部長の移動先で、第2施設候補としてあげていたKanyama Hospitalは、看護部長が本活動の計画段階から興味を示していて、前回訪問時も自分の施設でも実施したいとの要望があった。Kanyama Hospitalは病院の規模がChilenje Hospitalより大きく、スタッフの人数も多く、さらに看護部長自身が助産師であるため妊婦健康診査もシステム化されていて、母子健康手帳導入後のイメージが持てている。次回の訪問では病院で活動が可能になるように施設代表者に交渉してもらうことになり、口頭では承諾を得ることができた。今後はKanyama Hospitalを拠点病院としてモデルとなるシステムを看護部長と共に考案し、Chilenje Hospitalに導入していくという方法を取っていくことも検討している。
