パーキンソン病患者は、疾患特有の症状に加え、治療薬の副作用で1日の中でも調子の良い時と悪い時が存在する。また、それらの症状や進行の程度を、血液データや各種検査といった数値で客観的に判断できないという特徴があり、看護師がパーキンソン病患者の身体状態を理解するためには、患者のもつ身体感覚を共有する力と看護師の客観的な観察力に頼るしかない。先行研究(Ohara 2017)の結果より、身体性に着目することで、それらパーキンソン病患者の特徴を踏まえたアセスメント能力の強化に繋がるのではないかと考え、「パーキンソン病患者の身体性を意識した看護援助指針(案)」を作成した。本研究では、臨床看護師による実践を通して、指針が看護師にどのように理解され、どのような実践に繋がり、どのように指針が修正されるのかを明らかにすることで、その実用性と有用性を高めることを目的とする。2022年1月に倫理審査委員会の承認が得られ、すみやかにデータ収集が開始される予定であったが、COVID-19の影響を受け、研究対象施設の確保に時間を要した。2023年2月より、A病院の研究協力が得られることとなり、データ収集が開始となった。現在は、対象者となるA病院の看護師へインタビュー調査を実施しデータ収集をしている段階である。研究会議において、データの多様性を考慮し、研究対象者として訪問看護師も含めることとなった。今後、訪問看護師も併せてデータ収集を行う方針である。
