本研究は、サポートファイルの活用実態や課題等を、移行支援時の「送り手側」である幼稚園・保育園・認定こども園等の支援者と、「受け手側」である小学校の支援者への調査で明らかにし、効果的に活用するための「活用マニュアル」を作成することを目的としている。サポートファイルが有効に活用されれば、本人、家族、様々な分野の支援者の「共通基盤」ができ、発達障害児が生まれ育った地域で生活ができるようになることから、研究遂行にあたっては、医療、福祉、教育、保育等関係機関の専門職とともに、対象地域の状況を共有し、マニュアル活用を推進できるよう検討を重ねている。本年度は研究開始から3年目であり、研修開始時の予定では、実態調査の結果を受けて、活用マニュアルを導入している段階である。しかし、昨年度まで、開始当初からコロナ禍の影響を受け研究対象地域は離島であることから、現地での調査を実施することができなかった。本年度は、現地を訪問し、研究協力機関である「種子島四葉の会」の定例会、並びに島内関連機関が参集する会議等に出席した。研究協力メンバーとともに研究進捗状況を共有し具体的な進め方を決定した。本研究は、対象地域を離島としていること、発達障害児支援には、多分野の専門職との連携が不可欠であることからも、実態調査前に、時間をかけて情報共有・課題の抽出ができたことは、今後の円滑な研究遂行にとって意義があるものと考えている。初年度に予定していた実態調査の実施が滞ってはいるが、調査内容の再検討と研究対象機関の選定を行い、次年度調査に着手できる準備を整えた。
