The Integrated Research Training Group 'Chemistry and physics of nanostructured multi-component systems’ has been established as qualification and training platform for the doctoral researchers of this CRC. On top of the general support network and well-established training strategies of the existing graduate schools of the natural science departments, the IRTG provides valuable additional subject-related training, method workshops, seminars, discussion groups, and research support. Most importantly, the IRTG functions as an essential central exchange platform between chemistry and physics and encourages scientific skill-building across the disciplines.
