本研究の目的は，学校体育・スポーツの教育現場において，ICTを活用した教育支援システムの開発・実用化を目指すことであった．令和４年度においては，硬式テニスにおけるトップアスリートの指導現場において，ICTを積極的に活用し，競技力向上に向けた取り組みを遂行することであった．特に，ここでは，指導現場と科学サポート班との連携・協働によるゲーム・映像分析サポートを中心に遂行した．対象者は，プロテニス選手・実業団テニス選手であった．この数年において，新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により，試合開催が見送られたり，開催されたとしても，無観客試合となったりするなど，年間を通じて，本研究に必要な膨大な量の試合映像を取得することが困難な状況であった．その中で，一部，開催された国際大会や実業団大会でのライブ配信映像を積極的に活用しながら，ゲーム・映像分析サポートを遂行した．ゲーム・映像分析サポートの流れは以下の通りである．①指導現場から科学サポート班へ分析対象選手・分析内容・分析項目などを依頼，指導現場の持つ主観的・直観的な情報も伝達，②指導現場・科学サポート班の双方向による映像検索・収集の実施，③得られた映像に基づき，科学サポート班による独自に作成した分析ソフトを活用し，リアルタイムでデータの収集・分析・評価の遂行，得られた分析結果・コメントなどを，インターネットを介して，指導現場へ情報提供，④指導現場は得られた分析結果・コメント内容等の確認作業・感覚との照合作業及び情報・意見交換を遂行，更なる分析内容・項目を科学サポート班に依頼，という一連の流れで遂行した．その結果，双方向での密な連携・協働による遠隔サポートを通じて，指導現場の感覚を裏付ける科学データが提示できたことや，得られた科学データが，具体的な戦術指導に役立ったことなど，これらの取り組みが試合の勝利に貢献したことが明らかとなった．
