项目摘要

サステナビリティ・トランジション（ST）論における理論体系において基幹的位置づけを有するMLP（multi-level perspective）をめぐる今日的学術論議のレビューにより、実証的により粒度の高い・より精緻な調査研究を可能にするための各種分析概念とそれら概念間の連関性・体系性に関する論議を深化させた。その結果、①ST論に見るシステム変容に関わる「変化理論（change theory）」と公共政策に関わる「ガバナンス論」および「政策デザイン論」との交錯領域や相互関連性を理論的に捉え・論評し・展望するとともに、②システム・イノベーションを志向した政策的関与（policy engagement）から得られる政策アウトカム（policy outcomes）をめぐる評価（evaluation）や評価に基づく政策デザイン（policy design）のあり方を、ラディカル・トランスフォメーション（radical transformation）を経た持続可能なシステムへと移行する際の（中長期の）方向性（directionality）と整合的なものとなるよう再帰的にナビゲイト(navigate)するための、計12の概念群からなる実証的調査研究のための視座・枠組みの構築を行った。加えて、ST論に依拠した調査研究が依然蓄積を見ないわが国の学術の現状に鑑みつつ、ST論の全体像や主要理論等の紹介につとめるとともに、持続可能社会の構築に向けたわが国特有のコンテクストにそくしたST論の展開可能性について、当該学術領域に関心を持つ国内研究者らと共に論議・提言を行った。なお、MLPに依拠して行う実証的調査の実施面についても、研究計画にそくした形（例：山形、富山の2地域でのヒアリング調査等）での進展を一定程度はかることができた。
