本年度も、昨年度に引き続き予定していたドイツでの調査、特にベルリンの緑の党文書館などでの史料収集が、コロナ禍で海外出張そのものが不可能となり、出来なかったために、以前訪独して収集した史料の整理と精読の作業が中心となった。具体的にはドイツの緑の党文書館で収集した史料や、ドイツの政治家から個人的にコピーさせてもらった関連文書の読み込み等である。またエコロジー保守派の政治家ヘルベルト・グルール関連の書籍も大量に収集し、ひたすら精読した。この結果、以下の2点が明らかに出来た。1点目は、ハンブルクの緑の党（当時の正式な党名はGAL）が90年前後に左右に分裂した際、右派がグルールの創設したエコロジー保守派のエコロジー民主党に接近し、提携を試みていた点である。後に左右両派が再び統一した際に、こうした右派のエコロジー民主党とのつながりが、左派から問題視されていることも、史料から確認できた。従来の研究では、グルールらが緑の党を81年に離党してエコロジー民主党を設立後、緑の党との関係は絶たれたと考えられていたが、そうではないことを示唆していよう。この点の調査を、今後はもう少し深めたい。2点目は、「68年世代」の党と考えられがちな緑の党であるが、80年代の結党期には「45年世代」を代表する保守派と「68年世代」を代表する左派が併存し、両者の対立があった点である。それらは政策だけでなく、服装といったハビトゥス（振る舞い）の違いにも表れているということを、後述する発表論文では指摘した。また反「68年世代」で知られるドイツの右翼政党AfDが、「45年世代」で保守派のグルールの政治利用を現在試みている点も、こうした背景で理解できよう。以上のように、本年度は主に緑の党結党期のエコロジー保守派の位置づけを、政治家グルールを中心に行った。なおかつそれらをまとめた論文を、紀要に投稿し、査読を経て、掲載された。
