项目摘要

本研究は、１７世紀に安徽地方で確立した「安徽派」と呼ばれる画派について、①画風の選択意図、②人的交流、③郷里への顕彰意識という３つの観点から主に考察することで、その形成と発展の実相を明らかにすることを目的とする。それにより、１６～１８世紀の中国でおこった地方画壇のケースから、絵画を生み出す「場」の重要性という、美術史における普遍的課題の一様相を明らかにすることができると考える。当該年度は、2020年度に開催した展覧会「特別展　墨の天地―中国　安徽地方の美術―」（2020年10月10日～11月15日、於大和文華館）における成果を継承発展させつつ、2021年度～2022年度におこなった文字史料・絵画資料の収集、関連作品の調査などといった研究の蓄積をもとに、「特別企画展　明清の絵画―１５～２０世紀中国の美術―」（2022年11月18日～12月25日、於大和文華館）を開催した。更に研究の成果は、当展観の図録や講演会、その他論文などにおいて、公に提示した。これらの成果は、国内外の研究者にウェブで送信、あるいは書籍を郵送し、情報の共有を行った。本年度までの研究を通して明らかになったのは、１６～１８世紀中国の地方画壇が、実際には郷里のコミュニティという枠組みにとらわれず、各地を往来して他の地域の画家達ともさかんに交流し、その中で他所の画風や画作の際の思想を受容・共有したこと、またその過程で、かえって他とは異なる郷里ならではの絵画様式はいかなるべきかという問題意識をもち、それが各地方画壇の絵画様式の相異へと結びついていった可能性が高いということである。こうした見解を、前述の「明清の絵画」展の展示や展観図録などにおいて、実際の書画作品や文字史料を通して提示した。
