项目摘要

本研究は中国国内のプロテスタント教会および海外華人教会を主な調査対象とし、宗教をとりまく環境のグローバル化の実態、国を越えて移動する信者たちの宗教実践および宗教的アイデンティティの多様化の状況、さらにそれらが中国の政教関係に与える影響について明らかにすることを目的とする。2021年度に引き続き、2022年度も主に現代中国におけるキリスト教やその他宗教の海外展開や、信者の国際移動、海外における華人系教会の状況に関する先行研究の整理とインターネットを通じての情報収集を中心に研究を進めた。さらに昨年度より、研究の焦点を海外の教会でキリスト教に改宗し、中国に帰国した「海帰キリスト教徒」に絞り、海帰キリスト教徒の実態、帰国後の教会生活の状況および彼らの直面する課題について調査し、海帰キリスト教徒の事例を通して中国の政教関係に対するグローバル化の影響について考察を進めた。現在までに明らかになった状況とそれに基づく考察は、2023年2月発行の明治学院大学キリスト教研究所発行の『紀要』第55号にて発表した。本論文では、2010年代以降急速に拡大した中国を取り巻く国際移動の拡大および移動パターンの多様化と1990年代以降の世界各地における華人教会の発展が海帰キリスト教徒という新たな信者群の出現に寄与していること、中国国内外の教会の間の架け橋となる可能性を持ちつつも、彼らが帰国したのちは中国の宗教政策の下での海外とは大きく異なる宗教環境の中で信仰を維持する難しさに直面していること、そしてそれらの問題に対する中国国内外での対応について総合的な分析と新たな観点を加えた議論を提示した。
