Judging Inequality in Politics: How the Sense of Injustice and Perceived Inequality Influence Politics

My research achievements in the AY2021 are in two parts: First, I made a significant progress in my book project, "Judging Inequality." I completed the revision of the theory, and I am currently finalizing the survey questionnaire and experimental designs for the additional analyses. I also conducted numerous (online) interviews for the project.Second, I finished writing a preliminary draft of a new paper, "How the East and West Judge Inequality," which is also part of the larger research project.I presented these research at various venues, including the Weiser Center for Emerging Democracies and the Center for Japanese Studies at the University of Michigan, the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University, and the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
