项目摘要

新型コロナウィルス感染症拡大防止に配慮しつつ、被験者を集めて「最後通牒ゲーム」および「独裁者ゲーム」の経済実験を行った。各ゲーム3セッション、また1セッションあたり約30名の被験者を用いることで、延べ約180名分の意思決定データを入手することに成功した。本研究での「最後通牒ゲーム」および「独裁者ゲーム」は、被験者が複数財の分割についての意思決定を行うという点に設計上の独自性がある。これは多くの先行研究において、単一の財の分割扱っているために公平性について議論する際には均等配分に注目せざるを得ないという弱点を克服するためである。本研究を通じて得られた実験データを解析した結果、このような設計上の独自性があっても、被験者の意思決定について先行研究で示されたものと同様の傾向が見てとれた。改めて実験の設計に問題がないことが示唆されるとともに、今後これらの経済実験結果を分析するにあたって、より広範な公平性の概念を用いた議論が可能となることが期待される。現在は得られたデータを顕示選好理論に基づいた手法によってさらに詳細に解析を行っている段階である。これまでに得られた研究成果や確立した分析手法を用いることで、「社会的選好の理論で用いられる各種ゲーム理論実験」のうち、「最後通牒ゲームおよび独裁者ゲーム」に関しては「被験者の行動を公平性の観点から捉えることが可能であるか」「可能であるならばどの程度であるか」「得られる結果は、ゲームの設定変更に対しどの程度頑健であるか」という当初に立てた問いに答えることに成功した。
