1980 年代以来、多くの国で国営企業が民営化されたが、現在も多くの国々で準公営企業や公営企業が存在し、私企業と競争している。そして、それらの企業は競争しているだけでなく、需要規模に影響を与える共有資源に投資を行っている。すなわち、公企業と私企業は数量競争をおこなっていると同時に正の外部性を有する投資も行なっている。混合寡占市場における自由参入の影響について分析している先行研究はBrandao and Castro (2007)や Matsumura and Kanda (2005)をはじめ数多く存在しているが、demand-boosting strategy を考慮している研究は見当たらない。本研究は、この点で新規性と社会的に有益性が高いと考えられる。本研究は、上記の状況を想定して分析を行なっている。課題の１つである「co-opetitiveな混合寡占市場における自由参入」を2022年10月から国際査読誌に複数回投稿しているが、リジェクトが続いている。現在、2023年5月に再投稿することを目指してレフリーコメントを参考に書き直している状況である。2023年3月2日に国立高雄大学(台湾)で開催されたApplied Economics and Management Workshopにて本研究課題「co-opetitiveな混合寡占市場における自由参入」について報告を行った。その際にフロアーから有益なコメントを数多く頂いた。それらを精査した上で原稿に反映させるつもりである。る
