2022年度における研究実績としては、理論的研究、経験的研究の面でそれぞれあげられる。理論的研究においては、実践としての戦略(SaP)に関する近年の研究動向を整理し、ここまで行われてきたSaPの研究は、経営戦略研究における一つのアプローチとしての理論的な一貫性よりも、経験的研究をつうじてインプリケーションの蓄積を重視してきた研究コミュニティの一つとして捉えることができること、そのため、SaPには代表的な理論モデルを指し示すことが非常に難しいことを示した。その上で、SaPにおいて行われてきた理論モデル構築の試みについて、そこで示された理論モデルと、後続する研究におけるこのモデルの利用のされ方について検討を行った。この検討については、同文館出版より刊行された『キーワードからみる経営戦略ハンドブック』に分担執筆という形で公表している。また、経験的研究においては、経験的研究を行うための準備段階として、北海道において進められたクラスター政策と、これらの政策が施行される以前から札幌に存在していたICT 関連企業の集積との関わりを検討することで、地域における計画的産業集積と非計画的産業集積との関わりについて文献資料を用いて検討を行った。北海道が施行したクラスター政策は、一方で経済産業省や文部科学省が国家プロジェクトとして進めてきたクラスター政策の一環として、トップダウンで行われたという側面もある。しかし、政策実行のための具体的なスキームは、当然ながら地域の課題を解決し、強みをより強化することができるよう、地域の産業界の声を取り入れながら構築されるものでもある。そこで、特にクラスター政策の施行の前段階において、この政策の推進主体がどのように地域の声を反映させながら政策を実行していったのかに注目しながら経時的な検討を行った。この検討はディスカッションペーパーとして取りまとめられた。
