项目摘要

本研究課題では，「高齢者と彼らの支援者からなるオンライン上のコミュニティにおける，IoTを活用した見守りと支援の仕組みを通じて，独居高齢者の希薄になった人との繋がりの再生は可能か」を問いとして設定し，オンラインコミュニティ機構の構築に取り組んでいる．具体的には，独居高齢者の精神的孤独と社会的孤立を解決するために，特に，独居高齢者の加齢による精神的・身体的負担の特徴に着目し，IoTを活用し，独居高齢者が自宅に居ながらにして地域コミュニティへの参加および支援の確保を可能とする，“オンライン地域コミュニティ”の構築の為の基礎研究を以下の3つの課題に分けて行っている．①独居高齢者の健康と対人関係の実態調査と，②独居高齢者が望む他者との距離感，地域の場への参加や支援の獲得方法の調査を行い，③それに基づくプラットフォーム（機構）の構築を目的とする．現在は①の独居高齢者の健康と対人関係の実態調査と，②の独居高齢者が望む他者との距離感，地域の場への参加や支援の獲得方法の調査を行った．①独伊高齢者の健康状態と対人関係の調査としては，孤立による生きがいの低下や孤独死などが問題として浮き彫りになった．理由としては，一人暮らしや健康状態の悪化，コミュニケーション不足，孤立など社会的に孤立していることが挙げられる．独伊高齢者の中でもとりわけ男性の独伊高齢者が多く，上述のような悩みを抱えている場合が顕著に見受けられた．②の独居高齢者が望む他者との距離感，地域の場への参加や支援の獲得方法の調査としては，生きがいの低下だけではなく消費者トラブルや犯罪なども増えてきているため，地域コミュニティや地域活動などを通して，ひとと可能な限り関わることが出来るような社会的な活動を継続し、地域全体で見守り，独伊高齢者の心身の機能を維持できるように努める必要がある．
