项目摘要

本研究は，漢字表記語における形態－音韻間の処理プロセスについて，同音語数の効果の検討，音韻－形態間の一貫性効果の検討，音韻親近性効果の検討，形態隣接語数効果の検討の4つの研究を基に，行動実験と生理指標を同時に測定することで検討することを目的としている。本年度はこの中で，行動実験として実施できていなかった研究4である形態隣接語数効果について，音韻隣接語数を統制し，形態隣接語数のみを操作した語彙判断課題及び音読課題を実施して検討した。この結果，語彙判断課題では形態隣接語数が多い条件の方が少ない条件よりも反応時間が速くなるという促進効果が観察された。一方で，音読課題においては，形態隣接語数が少ない条件の方が多い条件よりも反応時間が速くなるという抑制効果が観察された。この結果について，語彙判断課題では多く活性化した形態隣接語から，多くの音韻レベルの活性化が生じる。その後，音韻レベルから形態レベルへのフィードバックされることにより，心的辞書全体の活動レベルが高まり，“単語”判断が容易になったものと思われる。一方で，音読課題では，形態隣接語が多い条件において多くの音韻レベルの活性化が生じることで音読が遅くなり，一方で形態隣接語数が少ない条件では音韻レベルの活性化が少ないことにより音読の実行が速くなった可能性が考えられる。また，昨年実施した音韻－形態間の一貫性効果の検討に関連して，漢字語の音韻隣接語を用いたマスク下のプライミング効果について，語彙判断課題と音読課題を用いて検討したところ，両課題において促進効果が観察された。この結果はカタカナ語プライムによって漢字語ターゲットの部分的な音韻情報が活性化され，漢字語ターゲットの語彙判断および音読の処理を促進したものと思われる。これらの音韻隣接語に関する研究について，日本心理学会第86回大会にて発表を行った。
