Analyses and Policy Implications using Longitudinal Long Term Care Data from Japan and England

Currently, I am in the final stage a three-stage project. In this stage, I have successfully completed the review of both English and Japanese data. The primary objective of the previous stage was to develop statistical models that facilitate local analyses, allowing for a comprehensive comparison of longitudinal perspectives derived from complex survey and administrative data. This has been possible largely in the UK side of the analyses although behind schedule due to the pandemic. Two papers are being written on the UK. One of them longitudinal. Also both of these research pieces were able to be presented overseas (USA) and within Japan (Nagoya). The Japanese side has been delayed considerably due the pandemic. The ultimate goal is to generate a detailed report. Currently, my primary focus is centered around the ongoing analysis and comprehensive description of the system arrangement within Japan. This phase of my research entails carefully examining and understanding the various components, structures, and processes that constitute the system at a local level. By conducting meticulous analysis, I aim to gain a deep understanding of how different elements interact and contribute to the overall functionality of the system in terms of measurable health outcomes.
