本研究では，虚弱高齢者を対象とした質的調査にて社会活動に関する意見を抽出し，その意見を取り入れた社会活動を行うことで，虚弱高齢者の社会参加を促進しようとしている。 2022年度は，2021年度に引き続いて，地域で実施する介入プログラム(社会活動)の内容を検討する話し合いが行われた。話し合いには，介入地区担当の地域支援コーディネーター，地域住民，地域包括支援センター職員，研究者が参加し，計4回実施された。話し合いを通じて地域活動の内容が決定し，2種類の地域活動を介入地区において定期的に実施することが決定した。また，これまで介入プログラムの話し合いを行ってきた場を，地域の課題や解決策等を話し合う場である協議体として継続的に開催していくことが決定し，2022年度は協議体における話し合いが2回開催された。2022年度に開催された地域活動プログラムは，地域ウォーキングと地域交流イベントの2つである。地域ウォーキングは，週1回の頻度で開催され2022年度は24回開催された。1回あたりの参加者は8～12名であった。地域交流イベントは月1回の頻度で開催され2022年度は2回開催された。1回あたりの参加者は，15～30名であった。また，協議体は，介入地区担当の地域支援コーディネーターが中心となり，地域住民，地域包括支援センター職員，研究者が参加し，実施した地域活動の内容の振りが行われた。また，今後の地域活動への虚弱高齢者の参加など今後の課題等が話し合われた。
