本研究は、Virtual Reality（VR）技術を用いた教育コンテンツ開発に向けて看護学生を対象とした共感教育プログラムを作成することを目的とする。①看護学生の共感特性を確認、②レディネスに合わせた共感能力の教育プログラムのシナリオを作成する、③そのシナリオを用いてVRに近い視点で撮影できるアクションカメラを用いて作成した動画でプログラムの有用性を検討する。看護師、看護学生の共感特性を評価するための臨床対人反応性指標は、国際誌に掲載された。また国際学会で発表する予定である。今後、他国で臨床対人反応性指標の信頼性と妥当性が検証されれば、①で確認された看護学生の共感特性は他国と比較することが可能となる。日本の看護師の共感特性について、さらに理解が深まる可能性がある。①については日本語に翻訳されているJefferson Empathy Scaleを用いることとした。このスケールを用いることで、結果を国際的に比較することができる。また、シナリオを作成して漫画にしており、その内容が妥当か確認する予定である。②については日本の看護師の共感特性について、非看護師の市民の共感特性と比較した。その結果、共感特性のうち、認知的側面である視点取得が重要であることが改めて明らかになった。この結果は、学会誌に投稿中である。COVID-19の影響によって研究は多少遅れているものの、2022年度に実施するために必要な準備は整えている。
