本研究の目的は、感覚・認知機能の低下のある高齢者の尊厳を重視したコミュニケーション力を向上させるために、看護学生を対象とした自己学習用のWeb教材の開発と評価を行うことである。今年度は、看護基礎教育に必要な教育要素を抽出するため、若手看護師（経験年数1～3年目）を対象とした、コミュニケーションが図りにくい患者の体位変換技術において特に配慮している事柄や、ケアで抱く感情に関する質問紙調査を研究協力施設である10病院に調査依頼を行った。今回、協力の得られた1施設において、日頃実施している体位変換の“話す・触れる”技術各4項目の意識と実施の程度の関連について、記述統計量とカイニ乗検定より分析を行った。分析結果より、“話す・触れる”共にすべての質問項目において、意識と実施の程度に有意な差が認められた。若手看護師は個別性に配慮して体位変換を実施することが難しいと考えていたが、“話す・触れる”技術を意識し実施していると自己評価している若手看護師が多い現状であった。特に、“触れる”技術に対し、“話す”技術を意識し実施している看護師が多く、患者とコミュニケーションを図ることに意識してケアを実施していることが推察された。今回の調査結果は、26th East Adian Forum of Nursing Scholars 2023にてポスター発表を行った。今後、看護師経験年数での違いを分析し、どの年代に焦点を当てるとより効果的な技術習得に繋がるのか検討を進めている段階である。
