研究協力依頼機関での面接調査に向けた準備をしていたが、研究者所属機関及び研究協力依頼機関において、新型コロナウイルス感染症によるクラスターが発生し、研究協力者に対する面接調査の実施が困難な状況であった。この間、本研究の関連領域及び近接領域における文献検討を継続している。小児がんとともにある方やそのご家族を対象とした、国内外におけるResilience Program等の先行研究から、精神的健康の増進のための支援方略の在り方について検討を進めた。また、小児がん患者にとって、重要なI HAVE factorsとなり得る家族、きょうだい児、同世代の子どもの心理的変調についても知見を深め、本研究の参加者が既に被っていると予測される影響要因についての検討を進めた。今後は、対面での綿製調査に限らず、オンラインでの面接調査も視野に入れており、その際は心理面でのフォローアップ体制が整備できる症例に限るなど、対応策を十分に講じて適用すべきと考えている。
