本研究は，大学体育バドミントン授業受講者を対象に，競技経験がストローク動作に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的としている．これにより，競技経験別に技能課題が抽出され，それに基づいた指導法を開発するための基礎資料が得られることを期待している．令和2年度は，大学体育バドミントン授業で用いている技能ルーブリック得点の分析を行った．その結果，先行研究同様に，バドミントン経験者，打具種目，その他の球技，その他の運動部，運動部未経験の順に得点が高いことが明らかとなった．このことから競技経験は各ストロークに影響を与えることが示唆された．令和3年度は，オーバーヘッドストロークの動作分析を行った．側方から撮影した動作をもとに，インパクト時の手関節角度，肘関節角度，肩関節角度を算出した.関節角度について競技経験別に一元配置分散分析をおこなった.その結果，競技経験によって異なる動作様式であることが明らかとなった.令和4年度では，動作分析のためにスティックピクチャを作成し，運動学的視点で分析を行った．その結果，運動部未経験の群では，スマッシュ・クリア・ドロップともに類似したインパクト位置であることが明らかとなった．特にインパクト位置が顔に近いことが特徴であった．これは空振りを恐れるという心理が働いていることが推察される．より良いストロークを実施するためには，こうした恐怖心を取り除くことや，適切なインパクト位置について指導することが技能上達に重要であることが示唆された．
