心理的ストレスとエネルギーバランスとは密接に関連し、高ストレス状態であることがエネルギーバランスの正あるいは負の状態を引き起こす一因であること、食事内容が心理的ストレスに影響することが報告されている。本研究では、心理的ストレスがエネルギーバランスの正負を分ける要因を、食事内容や生活習慣等の寄与の点から定量的に明らかにすることを目的とした。R4（2022）年度は、新たに9名の対象者について4週間に渡る詳細な調査を行い、身体組成、身体活動量、食事摂取状況、ストレス指標等に関するデータを収集した。また、昨年度の実測データと合わせて解析を行い、心理的ストレスとエネルギーバランスとの関連に関する一定の成果を得た。本研究の成果は、心理的ストレス状態やエネルギーバランスの改善、適正体重の獲得・維持のための、食事や生活習慣に対する具体的な方策の提案に貢献し、国民の健康維持に資すると期待できる。
