项目摘要

本研究の目的は、広範な科学領域において扱われているクラスターデータの解析において、一般化線形混合効果モデルを用いたときの変量効果分布の誤特定による問題を解決する方法論を開発することである。前年度までの成果として、一般化線形混合効果モデルの誤特定に対する性質や、問題を解決するための方法論について既存研究の整理を行った。変量効果分布の誤特定下においては、回帰パラメータの推定に無視できない程度のバイアスが生じる、回帰係数の信頼区間の被覆確率が低下する、回帰係数に関する検定の第1種/第2種の過誤確率に悪影響が及ぼされる、などの問題が報告されていた。変量効果分布の誤特定に対して頑健な推定を行うための方法論として、変量効果分布をノンパラメトリックに推定する手法、正規混合分布の仮定の下で推定する手法などが提案されており、数値シミュレーションによる性能比較に関する報告も行われていた。今年度の研究成果として、準線形モデリングを用いて一般化線形混合効果モデルを拡張したモデルを提案した。さらに、提案モデルの回帰パラメータの推定アルゴリズムと提案モデルに適用可能な情報量規準を与えた。また、変量効果分布の誤特定下において、提案したモデルが従来の線形モデルに比べて、より良く当てはまることを数値シミュレーションによって明らかにした。これらの研究成果をまとめた論文が、査読付き国際学術雑誌のStatistical Methods in Medical Researchに採択された。
