项目摘要

環境保全と経済発展の両立に不可欠な環境分野におけるイノベーションに着目し、その環境イノベーションがもたらす効果について経済学的視点から分析する。環境イノベーションとして、低炭素化技術である再生可能エネルギーと次世代自動車に着目し、当該分野の技術開発やその普及が経済に与える影響について、計量経済学的な手法を用いて明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的には、以下の２点の研究に取り組んでいる。・研究A「特許の質を考慮した環境イノベーションに関する実証研究」・研究B「貿易統計を用いた環境イノベーション普及に関する実証研究」本年度は両研究の分析結果の精査と研究Bの研究成果の論文化に努めた。再生可能エネルギーの技術開発および普及状況は急速に変化している。特に、技術開発の状況は特許出願データを観察すると、2000年代に急増した一方で、2010年代に入るとピークアウトした様子が見て取れる。この様子が特許出願データ特有の問題であるデータ収録までのタイムラグや、その他の要因ではなく、再生可能エネルギーの技術開発の状況の変化であることを確認するため、最新のデータを確認し、国別のデータの確認など分析結果の精査をおこなった。また、研究Bの論文化を進めた。加えて、技術分野が異なっても同様の結果が観察できるか次世代自動車産業を例に、同様の分析をおこなうための準備を進めた。結果の頑健性の確認するため、再生可能エネルギー同様に、近年急速に技術開発の状況や製品普及の施策が変化している環境技術分野である次世代自動車分野を取り上げ、データベースの拡張など分析の準備を進めた。
