2022年度は、長崎県内にある1市の介護事故報告書の解析結果をまとめ学術誌へ投稿した。今回、高齢者介護施設（介護老人保健施設、特別養護老人ホーム、認知症グループホーム、有料老人ホーム）で発生した介護事故報告書をもとに、介護事故（有害事象）の特徴や損害賠償責任につながる要因について明らかにした。介護事故（有害事象）の発生時間帯は、先行研究では職員の少ない早朝や夜間が多いことが報告されているが、本調査では、午前6時から午前11時59分が最も多く（34.0％，n=508）、次いで午後12時から午後5時59分（28.6％，n=428）といった比較的職員が充足しているであろう日中の時間帯での介護事故（有害事象）発生が多かったのが特徴である。これに関しては、入居者の特徴や施設内の環境など様々に今後調査が必要となってくる。また、介護事故の多くは転倒（72.6％，n=1,086）で、その他に原因不明の怪我（9.8％，n=147）、誤薬（3.9％，n=58）、誤嚥（1.9％，n=29）などがあり、先行研究と同様に圧倒的に転倒が多いことに関しては本調査も一致しており、転倒予防対策が今後も高齢者介護施設においては課題となってくる。損害賠償責任につながる因子としては、時間帯や職員の介助中、打撲・創傷・骨折などの怪我などの因子が関連していることが明らかになった。今後の調査では、介護事故発生後の対応や、施設管理体制についてさらなる調査が必要となることが課題となった。当初予定していた介護老人保健施設以外の施設も含めた調査となったため、介入対象施設の実施可能性の検討が今後の調査では必要となる。対象施設のリクルートやフィールド調整、研究方法の検討を重ね、調査を次年度はすすめる予定である。
