项目摘要

本研究は日活ロマンポルノの最初期に起きた摘発事件に着目し、公権力の介入という事態がこの成人映画路線の存続にもたらした影響を、ノン・フィルム・マテリアル（映画関連資料、以下、NFM）の精査を通じて実証的に解明するものである。これにより、成果が乏しい映画史的観点からのロマンポルノの体系的研究へとつなげるとともに、スポーツ新聞やプレスシート（映画作品のクレジット、解説やあらすじ、宣伝惹句等が記載された宣伝資料）といった、従来はあまり活用されてこなかった種類のNFMを用いた新たな映画学の研究モデルを提示することを目指している。今年度は、当初の研究計画にはなかったものの、ロマンポルノについてのアンソロジーに共編著者として参加することになったため、その出版に向けた準備に時間を費やした。企画は順調に進行し、2023年1月、『日活ロマンポルノ　性の美学と政治学』を刊行した。
