项目摘要

2022年度は、下半期からコロナ禍がおさまる傾向にあり、国内（九州本島）の調査を実施することができた。まず、福岡市姪浜遺跡出土遼東・山東系土器であるが、資料を実見したところ、公表された実測図では反映されていない同一個体破片があることが判明した。胴上部の破片であるが、轆轤による回転を利用した凹線文が認められる。頸部と胴部の境界にこのような凹線文がみられる壺は、遼東では西漢前期から中期に特徴的にみられるもので、同時期のものと判断される。これは、従来、日本列島で出土する遼東土器および楽浪土器の双方において東漢代のものを中心とするという趨勢が指摘されていたことに対して、これに異を唱えるものではないが、しかし、確実に西漢代に遡る資料が存在することを示すことができ、紀元前2～紀元前1世紀代の西漢鏡をはじめとする文物の流入の在り方とも関わる発見であった。宗像市ろくどん遺跡出土壺についても調査を実施した。この資料は通常の楽浪土器ではないとみられ、遼東系土器であると指摘する見解も提示されていた資料である。実見・実測したところ、胴部が膨らむ小型の壺であることが確認された。胴下半部には横方向の縄タタキが施されるが、今回の調査で胴中部に水波文が廻ることが判明した。胴部が膨らむ小型の壺は、従来の指摘とは異なり、遼東郡ではほとんどみられない。一方、伝統的に古朝鮮の系譜を引くとされてきた北韓の研究者が唱える「胴張り壺（ペブルンタンジ）」ではないかと考えられた。楽浪郡出土遺物の中には胴下半部に横方向の縄タタキが施されるものがあり、この点も一致する。そのため、従来の見解のように遼東土器とみることは困難であるが、「胴張り壺」が日本列島で確認された例はほとんどなく貴重な事例となった。また、時期は紀元前1世紀と考えられ、やはり西漢文物の流入とも関わり重要な発見となった。
