本研究は近世ベトナムにおける越族文化の南北分断について、具体的な建築を通じて解明することを目的とする。ベトナム越族の建築技術は南北の相違が顕著であるが、それらを具体的且つ網羅的に比較分析するための建築資料が決定的に不足している。本計画はその不足を補うため、ベトナム全土で実測調査を行い、実測図面集を主とした建築史研究の基礎資料を作成する。補助事業期間5年間の研究計画と方法については、研究経費の大幅な減額を勘案し本研究計画の要点となる遺構の実測調査および聞き取り調査の目標件数を研究計画調書中に記載した対象地域「計12地域」から「計11地域」とし、伝統木造ディン「40件程度」から「26件」へと変更して実施する。調査件数の地域別の内訳は、北部は二地域で計6棟、中部は七省で計15棟、南部は二省で計5棟の総計26棟の実測調査を行う予定である。実測調査は基本となる配置図、平面図、断面図、立面図のほか、柱転び、登り梁の詳細図等を実測し、フエ周辺域で行ってきた32棟のディンの調査との比較分析に足る図面を作成する。2021年度はコロナ禍により、現地調査ができなかったことから、計画遂行を2022年度へ全て繰り越し、2022年度中は、当初2021年度に計画していた調査研究内容を含め、当初計画の二カ年度分の内容を実施することで達成した。2022年度は前期に準備調査として、北部三地域、中部七省、南部二省の計12地域について、調査候補リストの作成を行った。その後、後期にそのうちの10地域について調査候補の踏査を行い、併行して実測調査物件を選定し、中部四省、南部二省の計6地域について、計14棟の遺構の実測調査を行った。以上より、当初計画の調査棟数計26棟のうち、半数を超える調査数に到達することができており、また中南部の主たる地域の実測調査を完了した。
