本研究の目的は、欠落していた新王国時代のメンフィス地域の墓地出土資料による考古編年を構築し、テーベ地域との比較を通して両者の異同を明らかにし、その違いを生み出した原因を探ることである。メンフィス地域の考古編年の構築では、新王国時代を通じて使用された墓地ダハシュール北遺跡の資料を対象にして実施される。計画の2年目にあたる2022年度には、アンフォラを中心とした土器編年の構築、墓の遺構のタイプ分類とその通時的変遷の分析、木棺、シャブティの編年に向けた資料整理が実施された。アンフォラの編年については、2022年度の日本オリエント学会で研究分担者によって発表が行われた。また、ダハシュール北遺跡の発掘調査および出土資料の整理作業が遂行された。予定通り、本遺跡で最初に発見されたポスト・アマルナ期の神殿型貴族墓の北側に南北10m、東西20mの調査区が設定され、発掘調査が実施された結果、7基の竪穴墓が発見された。この内5基が発掘され、本研究テーマに関連する新王国時代の墓は3基あることが判明した。特筆すべき成果は185号墓で、盗掘で多くの副葬品は失われていたものの、地下2階の構成の墓内からはアメンへテプ2世からアマルナ時代にかけて類例のある土器群が出土しており、さらにアメンへテプ3世の即位名が入ったファイアンス製の指輪が出土した。本遺跡の新王国時代に年代づけられる墓としては最初期に属することが判明し、王名による年代の裏付けもあることから、現在準備されている考古編年の構築に有用な資料と考えられる。

The purpose of this study is to construct archaeological chronology, compare archaeological sites, and clarify the similarities and differences between archaeological sites in the New Kingdom era and explore the reasons for their occurrence. The archaeological chronology of the region is based on the data of the New Kingdom era and the use of the cemetery. In the year 2022, the project will be completed by analyzing the structure, classification and communication of soil and water resources. In 2022, the Japan Institute of Science and Technology was established. The exploration and survey of the historical sites and the collation of the unearthed data were carried out. The investigation area of 10m north to south and 20m east to west of the temple type noble tomb was set up at the beginning of this period. The investigation results of excavation and investigation were carried out. The vertical tomb of 7 bases was discovered. This study is based on the discovery of the five basic elements of the new kingdom. The tomb No. 185 was excavated, and many auxiliary objects were excavated.
