令和4年度は、日本公務員法の現状分析を中心に行い、外国法研究も並行して実施した。それらの成果の一部は、本研究の代表者及び研究協力者を中心メンバーとする研究会（公務員法研究会）で報告され、そこでの意見交換を通じて互いの知見が高められた。同年度の公務員法研究会は、ハイフレックス方式で開催した。報告実績は、①下井康史「集団安保法自衛隊出動命令訴訟（最一小判令和元年7月22日民集73巻3号245頁）評釈」（令和4年6月18日）、②島田陽一＝渡邊賢＝田村達久「早津裕貴『公務員の法的地位に関する日独比較法研究』（日本評論社、2022年）にかかる書評」（同年8月29日）、③島田陽一「懲戒処分をめぐる一般労働法と公務労働法の比較」、皆川宏之「大阪医療刑務所事件（大阪地判令4・6・30）の検討」、下井康史「行政法学の観点からのコメント」（同年11月19日）、④早津裕貴「公務員の任用・勤務関係と労働者の契約関係の再整序に向けた一試論」（令和5年3月21日）である。上記のうち②は、島田陽一＝田村達久＝渡邊賢「書評・早津裕貴著『公務員の法的地位に関する日独比較法研究』（日本評論社、2022年）」、季刊労働法279号(2022年)112-127頁として公表された。前年度の研究会報告の一部は、下井康史「「非正規」公務員をめぐる法的課題－－公法学の観点から－－」日本労働法学会誌135号（2022年）180-182頁、早津裕貴「『非正規』公務員をめぐる現代的課題 本ワークショップの趣旨と概要」日本労働法学会誌135号（2022年）172-173頁、皆川宏之＝下井康史「市と締結した労務参加契約の法的性質と安全配慮義務違反の有無　浅口市事件・岡山地倉敷支判平成30・10・31判時2419号65頁」季刊労働法276号（2022年）193-210頁として公表されている。
