Digitally Inclusive Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC)is a cross-cultural Study in Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Thailand identifying paths to empower older persons' digital use, e-health literacy and participation in health promotion. From 2021, we organized virtual meetings, participated not only by academics, but also by professionals, researchers, specialists, graduate students from all around the world. The topic of each meeting expanded from the focus of digital-based policy of Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Thailand to digital trainings and ongoing research studies of health promotion, health equity, frailty, digital health, empowerment, and interventions, etc. The year 2022 marks the second year of the five-year project. A total of six international cross-cultural exchange meetings were held online. Local governments and international organizations who implemented digital empowerment programs and AI-ecosystems shared their experiences. We analyzed trans-disciplinary discussion and published as reports https://digital-ageing.com/surveys-and-blog/. Furthermore, through the citizen workshops, we identified factors empowering old person's digital use in different contexts and developed survey instruments. Pilot studies in four countries validated the instrument before full scale data collection. So far, community surveys have been completed in Korea and are ongoing in the other three countries. We published DIHAC study protocol and a scoping review of digital and health promotion policy paths to healthy ageing in Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Thailand in 2022.
