项目摘要

本研究は，自記式交通調査の代理回答バイアスと丸め誤差の特性を解明し，それらを利用した調査の質の計測指標やバイアスの補正法等を開発することを目的とする．本来の対象者ではない代理者の回答によるトリップの記入漏れ等のバイアスや，出発・到着時刻等を5や10の倍数等に丸めて回答することによる誤差を対象とする．本年度は以下の成果を挙げた．（１）正確な移動の出発・到着時刻を記録したデータとして新聞誌上の首相動静に着目した分析を実施した．そして，正確な時刻は丸められず均一に分布していること，活動の開始・終了時刻は不均一な分布となりうることなどの知見を国際雑誌で発表済みである．（２）トリップの出発時刻の丸め誤差を分析するウィップル指数を拡張した指数を提案し，JICAが実施している途上国でのパーソントリップ(PT)調査データを分析した．回答データの質，対象都市の文化等で解釈できる結果を得ており，成果は国際学会に投稿中である．（３）回答者の調査態度を上述のウィップル指数の拡張指数で計測し，調査態度が良好と推定される回答者のサンプルの重みを高めに設定する拡大係数の設定方法を提案し，試算結果を提示した．成果は学会で発表済みである．（４）代理回答者の情報を収集している米国全国PT調査を利用した分析を展開した．代理回答者の属性などの傾向，トリップ回答値への代理回答バイアス，代理回答にはには丸め誤差が多く含まれるなどの実証分析を実施した．成果は国際雑誌に投稿中である．（５）1 分単位の回答の要請と質問の順番が与える影響を分析することができる独自の交通調査を設計し実施した．さらに，2023年度に予定されている熊本PT調査において代理回答者の分析が可能になる調査票の設計について関係者と調整を行った．
