カタカナで構成される薬剤名と，数字と単位で構成される薬剤量を，それぞれ２回続けて単独呈示をした場合，薬剤名の方が薬剤量より差異の検出が困難であるということ，また，２つの文字列が一致しない場合の方が，一致する場合よりも差異検出が困難で，検出に時間を要するという結果について論文執筆を行った．次の実験では，薬剤名と，数字と単位で構成される薬剤量を組み合わせて２回続けて呈示し，単独で呈示した場合と同様に，薬剤名が薬剤量よりも差異の検出が困難であるかを検討するために，実験計画を作成した．先の単独呈示の実験では，文字長が５または６文字であったが，薬剤名と薬剤量を組み合わせて呈示するため文字長が長くなる．そのため，３～５文字の薬剤名を「治療薬マニュアル２０２３」から選定した．３文字の薬剤名は少なかったため，４または５文字の薬剤名を採用し，それに合わせて４～５個の数字と単位を組み合わせたものを実験刺激として，呈示する文字長や呈示時間を決定するための予備実験を行った．その結果，文字長は最大9文字となるようにし，４文字の薬剤名と４個の数字と単位で構成される薬剤量を実験刺激とする．文字列は２回続けて呈示し，先行する文字列と後続する文字列が同じ一致条件と，薬剤名または薬剤量の数字の２文字の入れ替え，または文字の置き換えをする不一致条件を設定し，正誤判断を行う．また，薬剤名の後に薬剤量を表記する一般的な表記条件と，薬剤量の後に薬剤名がくる逆転条件を設定し，構成する薬剤情報の表示順によるエラー傾向を見る．
