本研究は、「周産期にドメスティック・バイオレンス（DV）を発見した医療施設の看護職から地域母子保健担当の看護職へ、産後の女性からの信頼をのせた支援バトンのつなぎ方」を開発する研究である。そのために①DVに積極的に取り組んでいる看護職等に対するグループインタビューを通して、周産期におけるDV被害者発見・妊娠中から産後までの支援関係の継続・地域母子保健との連携の経験を明らかにし、②地域母子保健担当の看護職を対象とした個別インタビューを通して、医療機関から受け取った情報をもとに、DVのある家庭で暮らす産後の母子との支援関係構築と安全確保・子育て支援・虐待予防の経験を明らかにする。そして２つの調査から、a)スクリーニング法以外でDV被害者を発見するための知見 ,b)母子が地域で確実に支援を受けられる状態に整え、医療機関で形成された信頼に基づく支援関係を地域に移行させるプロセス ,c)夫からの社会的隔離を考慮した支援方法、DVのある家庭特有の子育て困難に対する支援方法について考察し、妊娠中から産後の切れ目ない支援プログラムを開発することを目的としている。2020年度より①②のデータ収集を開始する計画であったが、コロナ禍および研究者自身の出産・育児休業にてデータ収集ができない状況となった。そのため2021年度より研究計画の修正を行い、①②ともに個別インタビューを遠隔で実施し研究参加者数を増やしてきた。それらのデータについては現在分析作業中である。しかし、コロナ関連業務の影響で保健師が組織的に研究依頼を受けるのが難しい状況が続いており、②については研究参加者数を増やすのが現在も難しくなっている。
