本研究の目的は申請者の研究から見出された結果をアセスメントの指標として実践可能であるかについて、統計的な評価をしていくことである。そして、その結果に基づき高齢者の死の約1か月前を判断するアセスメント指標の尺度開発を目指す。当該年度は、看護師によって観察された高齢者の死の約1か月前に出現する事象の構成要素を検討し、追加項目とするとともに、項目の妥当性を評価した際に特養看護師からの自由記載で得られた項目を精査し、項目を追加し、質問紙を作成した。倫理審査承諾を受け、アンケート調査を行う予定であったが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染拡大状況を鑑み、施設への負担を考慮し、適切なタイミングでアンケート調査を行う予定に留まっている。
