项目摘要

１年度目の２０２１年３月にアニメのアーカイブなどをテーマに開催した国際コンファレンスの発表者による論文執筆が２０２２年度内に完了し、キム・ジュニアンと石田は出版社側と交渉し出版計画を確定した。今井は、アニメ中間素材を管理・閲覧するためのオンラインシステムを再構築した。画像データとメタデータの更新における手作業の負担とセキュリティ上の問題を解決するために独自のサーバを設けたうえ、オンプレミスのシステムを導入し諸機能を強化した。松本はこのオンライン閲覧システムの試用をアニメ業界関係者２名に依頼し、その試用のレビューを含む意見交換を新潟大学アニメ・アーカイブ研究センター室で行った。閲覧システムに対する好評を確認しつつ、キム・石田・今井も出席のうえ、著作権をはじめとする諸課題について議論した。三俣はセル画の保存における素材同士の接着問題に取り組み、セル画と同じ条件の復元試料の作製方法を確定したうえ、４つの異なる条件のサンプルを剥離試験に供した。接着力の測定システムを構築し、条件次第で最大接着力が低下することが判明した。なお剥離面に損傷をほとんど与えずに剥がすことができた。キムと石田は、新潟大学アニメ・アーカイブ研究センターに所蔵している『夢戦士ウイングマン』のアニメ中間素材の今日的な再解釈を映像作家五島一浩に依頼し、その結果インスタレーション作品が完成した。同作品は当該の素材と共に、著作権者から使用許諾を獲得できたことにより、次年度に展示会を開催し公開することが確定した。年度末にはアニメ中間素材をテーマに国際シンポジウムを開催し、五島は上記の作品創作に関する発表を、板倉は前年度に引き続き『夢戦士ウイングマン』の原画分析に関する発表を行った。アニメのアーカイブ研究の拡大を推進するため開志専門職大学アニメ・マンガ学部をはじめ国内・海外の研究機関との交流関係を構築、強化した。
