完全合理性や利己性では説明が付かない人間の一見不合理な意思決定構造について、近年では進化に根ざした深い合理性が隠れているとの指摘がなされるようになった。こうした進化の観点に基づく検討の一つに、高価なものを買う消費行動を、パーソナリティ特性の指標であるBig-5（利他性、開放性、外向性、勤勉性、神経症傾向）で解釈する分析がある。例えば、高価なビジネススーツはコストがかかるが、勤勉性の高さを誇示するシグナルとして機能し、宝飾品には開放性や外向性の高さのシグナルとしての機能がある、といった解釈が成り立つ。このような着眼に基づいて構築した「遺伝子－文化共進化」のマルチエージェントシミュレーションモデルに、経済モデルや簡易なネットワークモデルを取り込んだ場合の影響について分析し、それらの結果について人工生命研究会において発表を行った。また、人が互いのパーソナリティの類似性をどのように判断した上で、人付き合いの相手を選択するかを明らかにするため、現実世界における対面調査を継続した。これら調査結果の分析に基づき、人は実際のパーソナリティよりも、相手からどのようなパーソナリティを持つと思われたかを、自分がどのように認知しているかに関するメタ認知の方が、付き合いを続けていきたいと思う傾向と強く関係する可能性があることを明らかにした。

The analysis of Big-5 (altruism, openness, extroversion, diligence, neurosis tendency) indicators of the characteristics of consumption behavior and flexibility. This paper focuses on the basic structure of "heritage-culture co-evolution" and the development of artificial life research society. The similarity between the two sides of the border is determined by the two sides of the border. The results of this survey are based on the possibility that people will be able to think about it in the future, and that they will be able to think about it in the future.
