项目摘要

本年度は，複数の統計・ビッグデータを融合した地域観光統計推計手法の提案に向けて，主として以下の四種類の研究を実施した．1)観光庁が全国で実施する宿泊旅行統計調査の個票を使用して，現状の表章地域区分である都道府県よりも狭い地域区分における推定の実現を目指し，現状のサンプリング方法を前提として，延べ宿泊者数の推定精度を向上させるブートストラップ法に基づく方法論の開発を行った．2)携帯電話の電波情報を活用した地域滞在人口統計時系列データを利用して，機械学習の考え方を援用した狭域地域での将来滞在人口の短期予測手法と，Non-negative Matrix Factorizationの考え方を援用した目的別滞在人口の推計手法を開発した．3)携帯電話の電波情報を活用した地域滞在人口統計時系列データと全国パーソントリップ調査を利用して，地域住民と来訪者の移動需要パターンを高い時空間解像度で推計する方法論を開発した．4)携帯電話の電波情報を活用した地域滞在人口統計時系列データとクレジットカード決済・店舗ポイントカードシステムのデータを利用して，新型コロナウィルス感染症が観光地への来訪者数の変化に及ぼした影響をCausal Impactの考え方を援用した構造化時系列統計モデルを適用して推計する方法論を開発した．
