项目摘要

本研究は19世紀末にモンマルトルに実在した文学キャバレー「シャ・ノワール」で行われた作家たち自身による作品朗読を検討することで、これまで見逃されてきた文学活動における声や対面での作品披露の重要性に着目してきた。今年度はレトロニュース(フランス国立図書館の運営する定期刊行物アーカイブ)での調査に基づき、「シャ・ノワール」の店内での朗読が、19世紀全体の中での朗読文化の中でどう位置づけられるかについて考察した。まず、不特定多数に向けた文学キャバレーにおける朗読は、参加者が限定される文学セナクルや文学サロンと大きく異なる。しかしロマン主義時代の文学サロンでの朗読はすでにメディア戦略的側面を備えていた。その後、文学場そのものの発展に付随して文学キャバレーは登場したのである。さらに文学場が飽和状態になるにつれ、キャバレーはサロンに招かれる作品の予備選考の場であったことが明らかになった。この結果をフランス語フランス文学会秋季大会において「聴衆の前で読むこと─文学・芸術キャバレー「シャ・ノワール」におけるパフォーマンス」として学会発表を行った。また発表をもとにフランス語で論文を執筆した。論文は査読の結果『フランス語フランス文学研究』第123号に掲載されることとなった。また、昨年度に執筆した論文「「シャ・ノワール」におけるシャンソンの担い手をめぐる諸問題」は来年出版される論考集『シャンソン・フランセーズの諸相と魅力― 民衆文化の花束 ―』に収録される予定である。

This study focuses on the importance of literary disclosure in the late 19th century.
