项目摘要

従来の視覚探索研究は，探す過程に注目してきたが，現実では隠すことも重要である。本研究は，ヒトを対象とした探索・隠蔽方略を明らかにする上で，従来の空間次元での検証に留まらず，新たに時間軸を導入した事態で，以下の三つのプロジェクトを遂行することを目的とした。一つ目は，従来のモノの探索・隠蔽方略をモノ以外に発展させることであった。二つ目は，方略の学習とその年齢関連差を検討することであった。三つ目は，社会的文脈や状況，相手の主観的印象が方略に及ぼす影響を検証することであった。そして，従来の基礎的な枠組みを超え，現実に想定される複雑な事態における探索・隠蔽方略の知見を提供することが最終目標である。2021年度に関しては，主にプロジェクト1と3を遂行する予定にあった。ただし，プロジェクト1については，新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響により，大きな進展を果たすことはできなかった。一方，プロジェクト3については精力的に実験が進められており，新たな実験パラダイムを構築した。具体的には，報酬を用いた操作を探索・隠蔽課題に導入し，前年度に実施した予備実験から本実験へと移った。そして，従来の知見と異なり，従来の方略を変えて，敢えて異なる方略を使用するときの条件について，新たな知見を得ることができた。また，その発展として，従来の探索・隠蔽課題についてVR上で実施することや，探す・隠す対象と場面との整合性を含めた検討を計画し，準備を進めた。
